This will be our second performance for the “Super Hits of the 70s.” Connections members have numerous, um, “connections” to FUMCR. Our last show here was perhaps our largest crowd in history, and we expect it to be a big night again.

The two sets include classics from Fleetwod Mac, Stevie Wonder, Steve Miller, and Earth Wind and Fire. There are ballads from Joni Mitchell ("Help Me"), and rockers from Steely Dan ("Reelin' in the Years").

You'll be singing along on every song and once again be pleased by our most ambitious concert yet. More than 25 musicians, including full brass and strings, will provide the music for the night.

To date Connections has raised more than $65,000 for worthy charities.

If you'll miss this show, stay tuned for other dates this Fall and next Spring. We hope to see you there!

Our beneficiary for this show will be "United Methodist Committee on Relief."
