We look forward to returning to Garland, the site of one of our largest, and most successful fundraising nights ever.
The two sets include classics from Fleetwod Mac, Stevie Wonder, Steve Miller, and Earth Wind and Fire. There are ballads from Harry Chapin ("Cats in the Cradle"), and rockers from Steely Dan ("Reelin' in the Years").
You'll be singing along on every song and once again be pleased by our most ambitious concert yet. More than 25 musicians, including full brass and strings, will provide the music for the night.
To date Connections has raised more than $100,000 for worthy charities.
Our beneficiary for this show is "Imagine No Malaria," the successor campaign to "Nothing But Nets"
The "Imagine No Malaria" campaign an audacious and exciting campaign to eradicate malaria from the planet by the year 2015. It is a successor to "Nothing But Nets" within the United Methodist Church. As you may recall, Connections has raised more than $50,000 for "Nothing But Nets." The goal here to to broaden the goal "beyond nets," to the literal eradication of the disease itself.
